Was going to be an ex.But couldnt part with the Cerbera in the end.Just completed a weekend at the Nurbergring, and Spa with the Vette, and the Cerbera boys. And we all made it back without problems. The Vette was a brilliant car on the Autobahns, and kept pace with the Cerbs most of the times.Managed 165mph at one point.thumbup

Another one here. 3 x Griffs previously. Ran out of money maintaining them, so bought the Vette wink

Five Griffith 500's (yes, 5, I must be mad), a 3000M thrown in somewhere amongst them too.

1 x C5 then current C6. Now when's that ZO6 arriving?

I had a Griffith 500 for 6 months in the mid-90s, in a very fetching shade of Raspberry Pearlescent smile It spent more time at Henley Heritage being fixed than it did on the road, so on the occasion of its final breakdown I told HH I didn't want it back and to make me an offer. Only lost £2K on the deal - those were the days! Still the loudest, quickest thing I've ever owned although the C6 is pretty close.

Had a long hard look at the big wedge way back when before getting into a Lotus Esprit and then the C5 Vette. Corvette is surely THE V8 sports car of the moment in Europe where they're not a common sight on the road but have all the benefits of proper engineering development and mass production. driving

Here's a picture of my old wedge. Really great 'fun' car, with a soundtrack to die for.

Titan,

haven't seen you on here for a while. Dropped by your place last Wednesday on my way back from an appointment in Peacehaven but couldn't see you around.
Having a day off?

James

Hi James, sorry to have missed you. You are allways welcome for a coffee and chat.Plus you could give me your opinion on how the car now looks. Its funny but i've never changed/added to or modified any previous vehicles, but the corvette...well. The rear wing is now even larger....I have a front splitter....side skirts, fitted before ZR1 came along and copied!....and black chrome wheels, plus some other bits. I know there are normally strong opinions on this sort of thing ,but I love it! Holden GTS/R now gone.......but will have new GTR arriving next july.Hope you are doing well. Martin.
