Richard Hammond does 30 MPG in a Z06. You can too. Change today and start saving immediately.

Best to have both in my view. If oil prices go up, down comes the economical one. Who needs a Pri*s?

Is this going to be on TG? Not shocking at all.. I've gotten nearly to right at 30mpg out of regular Vettes over here, on US Gallons!

I do wish I could fit a ramp in my garage...... Guessing that's in NY, U.S. Spec. Phase 1 Arnage Red Label in what looks like Cobalt Blue, but I'm probably wrong on the last bit....smile

Yep Red label in Meteor Blue actually. You need more torque than a Z06 if you're carrying kids, obviously. Pushrods rool this end of the garage....

I'm willing to bet the Z06 revs higher than a diesel though!

Diesel? And you're a car dealer? Anyway, never in my garage matey. The Bentley out-torques the Z06 with fewer cubes, fewer revs, but with turbo.

Go easy on Mitch. It's been a tough week.
I'll take the Top Trumps cards into the sales meeting on Monday.
( Mitch, I told you the Bentley diesel was still a secret. Now for God's sake don't tell anyone about the Corvette Hybrid)

My C6 Z06 averaged over 30 MPG (UK gallons) on the trip from Houston to Baltimore (about 1500 miles) in May doing 70 MPH on cruise which was incredibly boring but at least I didn't get any speeding tickets! My blue C5 Z06 did 33.2 MPG on the same trip the year before.

Daily driving the C6 Z06 it still returns about 23MPG.

I'm being cheeky as far as I'm an old Bentley enthusiast though not so much of anything newer than Arnages. THe original Continentals particularly T's and R Mulliners are pet favourites of mine. They always amused me with peak torque being around 2250rpm and re-lining short of 5k, not far off diesel engine characteristics. No offence intended!
