We need Corvette C6 and Z06 but Euro spec only please. Nothing wrong with US spec. They just won't suit this requirement this time.

I know of one you maybe getting soon. (Funny Stratstone never do this?)

I've changed my mind about selling mine David, otherwise I would have tried through you.

I decided I have too much time and money invested in the Black Beast, although I fear the temptation to refit the Lingenfelter kit (but this time with the ARE dry sump system) will prove irresistible...

It would be interesting to know what you pay for them (not that I am selling mine), there are at least 3 C6 Z06's in the classifieds for under £40k!! Total bargin for the performance.

.... at a time when a mate of mine is trying to sell his 15 month old 3-series coupe (3 litre petrol) and struggling to get back half what he paid for it!

Vehicle market's flat on its face right now for everything except small runabouts.

U.S. Spec. cars are less desirable, lack of warranty doesn't help so much and one of our roots to market these cars requires they be Type Approved rather than SVA'd.

Seems sensible, I don't think a UAE import would sell well even if I did want to get rid! biggrin

And can appreciate the chap above, had some silly quotes on my Rangerover so decided to keep it rather than change...hooray for the decrease in petrol prices!

15 month BMW 3 series are just like Vectra/Mondeo you can get one anywhere and It still shocks me when anybody who owns a Beemer thinks that their car should be worth almost what they paid! They are a mass produced car now and will suffer when you come to sell them on again, Also face lift model out at the end the year.

One's in Le Mans Blue in the west midlands.
We are aware of this car.
That leaves two.

I guess the last one is the one you were talking about. They are imports though and don't seem to have side indicators...

I know the history of the Yellow. It's quite interesting and not in a negative way. Guess that means one way or another we know the stories of all of them!

The middle, silver one was one of the first Z06s imported into the UK and the first I got to ride in.
The original owner wrote a brief article about it on my website: http://www.auto-journals.com/content/corvettez061....
Cost him £74k from the American Carriage Company! eek

I thought that the silver one was Neils car. He was talking about selling it last year as he wasn't getting around to using it as much as he wanted to.

The blue car 'used' to drive very well, but it's history is documented on here already.

I think that I'd either be looking at BMs used stock or making a silly offer to Stratstone on any of their new cars and see what response you get.

We have photos of the blue car taken after the "slight accident".

The point behind the post James, lest we forget, is that we want to buy some C6s and Z06s.

I'd even buy Cheeky's if he has got over the trade being allowed in here.

Then just call your friendly plc competitor...I don't think cheeky would sell unless you were swapping it for a new one!

Get that Lingenfelter back on David... my beast is feeling lonely being the only one around...
