From memory - mostly very easy, but the back two on the drivers side are a bit tight for the socket. Normally a little easier if you have a plug socket that has a hex end you can put a spanner on instead of the ratchet.

Depends if its an L98 or LT1 C4, L98's are fairly easy, but LT1's are a pig, if you've got access to a lift then use it as the plugs are easiest to access from underneath.

How come they're harder to get at? I know the LT1 is a 2nd Gen small block - is it covers that are in the way or are the plugs angled totally differently? (just interested!)

Plugs are angled different from L98 and are well and truley emdedded between the exhaust manifolds
