This is good news, looks like my trips to Le Mans are safe for a good few years yet.

I assume Nige can shed some light on the GT class changes, will GT1 exist, will there be a second GT class, will anyone touch a GT2 Vette?

It was announced in the ACO press conference that for next year all classes will have a 10% decrease in restrictors and diesels will also have to run lower pressure turbos. From 2010 ACO will adopt FIA GT rules I.e. Whatever is decided to be GT1 and GT2 which is widely expected to be current GT2 and GT3 specs.
