Just the Sunday for me - though why they have to schedule it the weekend before Britcar I don't know.
So it'll be the BTCC at Brands the weekend after, rather than two trips to Silverstone
No Corvettes in BTCC, support Britcar and Xero Competition instead! So it'll be the BTCC at Brands the weekend after, rather than two trips to Silverstone

For those unsure about making the trip to Silverstone this weekend, there are
a number of good reasons to be there.
1) Luc Alphand Aventures heads the GT1 class, but still with everything to
play for.
2) The Classic Endurance Racing series has two historic Corvettes racing in a
great line up of cars.
3) Need some merchandise? There is more Corvette Racing 2008 goodies on sale
than at Le Mans and all officially backed.
If you can't make it along, or if you just want to see some Corvette images and
a report from Friday, you can find it here.

The site had been troubled with script errors after a hack and with little time
to sort them, it has been very quiet I'll admit, but almost all pages are now
back live and with lots of goodies (an interview with Oliver Gavin, reports from
various Britcar rounds with the progress of Mitch Millett and his Corvette and
much more, there is plenty to catch up on.

Nice win for the Alphand Corvette!
Now for FIA GT1 and GT3...
I really feel for SRT who have done a stunning job this season. A run of bad luck especially around Spa has really put them on the back foot, although a great return to form last weekend to claim 3rd.Now for FIA GT1 and GT3...
Bertolini and Bartels are only out front off the back of Corvette's failings at Spa...and a massive points haul they got for their 'steady' run.
Three more rounds to go, so Phoenix and SRT are still very much in with a chance.

Bouchut has driven well this year hasn't he.
To be honest though, so long as a Corvette wins I don't mind which team!
Callaway deserve their lead in GT3 though, especially when you see the size of the restrictor and weight penalty they carry!
Hasn't he just, still can't get over the sight of him in the pits in his hospital To be honest though, so long as a Corvette wins I don't mind which team!

gown at Spa having slipped out the door and hailed a taxi back to track when
the medical staff left him alone!
I'm going to try and get to some continental Europe GT races next season as it's
been a while (other than Le Mans), but right now I am REALLY looking forward to
visiting the final 2008 ALMS race at Laguna Seca next month.
Some of the upcoming things at www.corvetteracing.co.uk will be a feature on SRT,
a report and images from Monterey and more from Oliver Gavin, while there will be
live up dates from Silverstone this weekend following Mitch and the Xero Competition
Corvette team as they go for glory in the Britcar 24 Hour.
Bring it on!
