Corvette C4 headlight conversion

The 1989 Corvette C4 which myself and a mate have recently imported into the UK from Saudi needs a headlight conversion that will suit UK roads and be MoT legal. Does anyone know where the UK headlights can be purchased and a rough price if poss.

Your best bet is to find a yank friendly garage to MOT the Vettes. I've got a completely standard '88, including red indicators, which I MOT'd 3 months ago with no problem at all.

Actually red rear indicators are perfectly legal in the UK. Just rather rare and often consdiered otherwise.

I don't think you can get UK C4 headlights, you have to aim the beam as far left as possible & aim it down a bit also, then it should pass ok.

But as said above take it to a MOT place that deals with yanks or you'll end up with a right headache.

Red rear indicators are only legal on a car first used before 1st September 1965, and even then only if it displays exclusively to the rear of the vehicle. (Semaphore arms had to be amber as they could be seen from both front and rear) Front indicators at that time could be white or amber.
