Sam and others have been asking if we can do this again.

I've provisionally got something booked but need to see if y'all can make it. If we can do Corvettes vs Porsches vs TVRs again, that'd be great, but the more Vettes the merrier!

It would be on the morning of Friday 12th September, with £180 covering:
- bacon butties & coffee
- target rifle shooting at the 1000 yards range(!)
- clays on the Commonwealth Games facility
- black powder pistol (like a musket, but a pistol - great fun)
- lunch
- prize for the winner
- the opportunity for a razz after lunch - last time it was over to Racing Green

Everyone seemed to enjoy it last time. Who's up for it? Please can you let me know in the next couple of days; I'll need to confirm the bookings.

I'm up for it if others are. Sounds like fun.

Why not take a punt at the Fairmle as to how many want to come you could also take a deposit to cover your self

I won't be there Sam but if you'd like to put it to people I'd be very happy with that!

I guess nothing came of that...?

In that case sorry folks - as you were guessing, not enough people signed up this time for us to be able to run the day.

Can try again in the spring if there's interest, or even in October if you tell me you want to.

After the Fairmile there was late night drinking with the surrey corvette party girls followed by a 600 mile blast thorough France, Begum and Germany, followed by a well earned rest. Back on the ball now but not that many have time or spare cash to be that interested in a day out its probably better to tag onto the back of another event and just make up one team of care enthusiasts. I’m still interested if there is anything in the pipeline
