Don't take it from me, take it from the guy who knows Z06's best.
I know I've mentioned this before, but after reading about Songmans success in "fighting torque" I thought it was a good time to refresh all you Z06 owners knowledge on how to get the most out of your car, so I started a fresh thread for easy reference.

"Ranger" applied his military methods to drag racing and has yielded an 11.13 @ 127.20mph from a 100% stock C6 Z06. With just a pair of drag radials, he has gone 10.85 @ 129.50mph.

His website contains all you need to know about how to prepare yourself & your Z06, and how to launch and drive it. Everything within the site is applicable to any manually shifted car though, and is a good read for any enthusiast. I've improved my times by over half a second since reading his website, and I don't suffer the clutch woes I used to before taking his sage advice. Enjoy!

This is all the kit you need to refresh your Z06 clutch fluid.

Check out the colour of the old fluid, now in the cup!

Clutch fluid now replaced, much cleaner!

Since Ranger set his times, Jamie Furman bettered them with his 100% stock C6 Z06, running a 10.98 @ 128.90mph. On Run Flats.
