Malc, you say we're stung but the economic gearing of the U.S. is totally different to the U.K. and Europe. Just look at what average wages are out there. Where we are stung is on European product, such as Porsche, Audi et al. They are all priced in line with the U.S. competition but are then almost twice as expensive back here. Some cars like the Porsche Cayenne I believe are sold in the states to give the manufacturer justifiable production numbers, they really make their profit in other parts of the world like the E.U. and Middle East.

I'm quite taken with the idea of 911s at $73,000 on the Porsche US website.
For a moment, I thought we were the only ones coming to work in masks and stripy jumpers.
Seems the Germans may have got there first, just like the sunbeds.
