I recently ordered a 3" B&B exhaust for the Z from Mid American Motorworks, the exhaust left the factory in the U.S. on the 25th and arrived today in two large boxes. Fast service!! I'm looking forward to fitting it this Friday to see what the difference is from the Borla that's fitted at the moment. Any other projects going on ?

Having shipped a few bits from the US before, I dread to think what the shipping cost was on that....

Whilst that looks loverly, and I'd like a shiny exhaust for mine, I am equally impressed that you have parts spread out over the floor!

I have to take my shoes off to walk on our carpet so the grief I'd get for that...

Just as well you didn't order it from Stratstone. Sorry, couldn't resist. Btw I had the B&B Route 66's on my C6 and changed them to Borla Stinger 11's with the X-Pipe. Far more vocal without droaning on the motorway. Enjoy anyway!

It's going to be interesting to see how they sound compared with my Borla's. The up side is the 3" pipes should free up some extra power. I hope wobble

Dump the resonator and fit an X-pipe Cliff. Thats worth HP, makes it louder out the back and quieter in th ecabin

I totally agree, that's exactly what happened when I fitted mine - lovely noise from the pipes and all the resonance and boominess gone from the cabin.

Having just fitted a Bassani cat back exhaust to my C6 Z06 I can honestly say having a central exhaust silencer is way too boomy in the cabin when driving, seriously think of going to another system.

Cliffy gets away with having all his car parts spread over the carpet as he lives alone, so this where you are going wrong Tom74 hehe
