was at the mopar nats and totb this weekend with stevieturbo, the guy with the S/C LS1 engine in his granada just posting this as a few of you know him, he did great at the pod finally cracking the 10's for the first time - 9.85@ (about 146mph) and managed 3rd overall top speed at totb (Elvington) 181mph over a standing 1km run, he also made the 1/4 mile shootouts in the RWD class, and a 55sec lap around the handling circuit

temps were very high at both events, so looking good for improved times with cooler weather

I was also competing at the Mopars and witnessed the awesome LS1 Granada making 9 second passes, its a wicked sleeper!

I didn't do too badly, set a new Personal Best ET in the Z06 at 11.79 @ 120.mph, and debuted my own design (The Veeteor LSR) in public with bodywork running a traction limited 11.9 @ 136.75mph, not too bad given the heat!

Excellent Photos clap

Well done to Jenkinscomp and stevie turbo for succeding with their fantastic and imaginative projects. I dare say Stevie has realised his *target and Jenkinscomp machine, judging by the terminal speed, has quite a bit more to achieve if he can improve traction.

  • Stevie turbo has realised his target, hasn't he ? eek
