Mark, after you left, the top blokes (organisers of the club) had an emergency meeting about your Viper and the fact it is a Corvette Club. Not sure of the outcome but I know a fight broke out, various members resigned and the screams could (apparently) be heard as far away as Krispy Kreams Doughnut-Diner, near Rayners Park just off the A3.

I did manage to hear a little of what was going on but kept my distance as it looked like it was getting pretty ugly.

Apparently it all had to do with the fact that you have TWO MORE cylinders AND your bonnet is at least 6" longer than the rest of us. One member said that "if he wants to come back he will have to pull out a couple of his spark plugs at the very least". The ladies murmered something about tending to the other problem on hand.

I didn't hang around and made some excuse that my store's alarm went off..........

I agree about the cylinders, with that many I have a choice of two vehicles...a Vette and a Harley........and both seem sufficient....I must admit though I did have a SRT10 truck a few years back and did benefit from the extra cylinders, essential when pulling houses down !!!
