Well it looks that way!
I spoke to somebody last night at the ZR-1 bash who spoke to a guy from Stratstone about a buying a used Corvette they were selling and wanted to trade his one in with them.

And was told they are not intrested in taking in more used Corvettes as they are still trying to sell their old 07MY demos which are not selling, So they did not want to have more Corvettes around them to be stuck with!

This also goes for Cadillacs as they have loads of them to get rid of they are not intrested in PX with any Cadillac/Corvettes!
Is it me or is that not they are selling? You are in a Catch 22 How will you sell a new or used Cadillac/Corvette if you don't want to take part exchange of a similar car?

Stratstone are a main agent for the brand in the UK

Why would you not want to stock up on some nice low miles C5/C6 models to sell as those guys in a few years will be back again to trade up.
Imagine going to Fords to trade in your Focus to be told Sorry mate I have to many already to sell on the forecourt!

This guy from Stratstone was running the Park lane dealership!
How much longer can Stratstone last just selling cars to new customers? There are only so many ex Porsche/TVR owners you can get into a new Vette.
So all the owners of cars then go and spend money with the dealers who will be intrested in their px cars. Most Corvette owners love looking after their cars so used ones should pleasue for dealers to take in part exchange.

As I said to the chap intrested take a trip to Manchester they will be more than happy to take a part ex Corvette and find you a nice used one!
Maybe thats how Bauer-Millet have been a GM main dealer for over 20 years because they know of something called repeat custom and thats what keeps you in Business.
It really would looks like Stratstone have given up selling Corvettes.

I think they have no 08's as demos all their cars are 2007 they seem to be running!

Considering they keep their demo's for 2 - 3 years I am not surprised!
