That is awesome Nigel!
It would look better still with Competition Grey rims, but that is stunning.
How do you find the performance? Quicker than the Diablo you drove to Le Mans but not as manic as your TT C5 I would imagine.
Needs a louder exhaust but I have that covered........It would look better still with Competition Grey rims, but that is stunning.

Performance is adequate especially for a daily driver..........stupidly easy to drive and apart from the lack of noise at anything except extreme revs it is very nice to drive, but I am still struggling to find the extra 100 BHP over the standard C5 Z06. I was expecting it to appear 25% more rapid but it just doesn't feel that way.

I may have a spare Mild2Wild you can have for a (very) modest fee.
It's the remote control for the valve if you didn't know.
Or are you about to put a very loud exhaust on it anyway?
I don't know how it compares to the C5 Z06, but the LS7 likes revs more than any other production small block.
Needs to go to 7k to get the best out of it. You may find the extra 100 horses lurking there!
Have fun and hope to see it in the plastic next week...
Nigel
Congratulations on your new car. I like the blue - is that a special colour - can't say I've seen it before.
How do you find the steering on the Z06?

Not entirely true as a standard LS7 develops peak power at 6200 but you are right in as much as the peak power is about 500 rpm higher than it was in the C5 Z06. However I think longer gearing may also be a factor and perhaps also that quite a while since your C5 was standard.Needs to go to 7k to get the best out of it.
