Written off Z06 for sale
Discussion
Mitch may have mentioned this in another thread, but there is currently a Z06 being advertised on Pistonheads that was written off whilst at Stratstone.
If you are looking at buying a Z and want to check that it is not this car pm me.
Having seen the car in its' damaged state I know exactly what was wrong with the car. With the bodywork in place you cannot see the damage unless you remove the sill.

Are you saying it may not have been repaired properly or are you just generally warning of the damage it previously sustained. If you are looking at buying a Z and want to check that it is not this car pm me.

What happened to it and do you have any pictures of it in it's damaged condition?
I have photos of the car from just after it was damaged. I was looking at buying it with Xero Competition to turn into a GT3 car but even we decided the chassis was too badly damaged for it to be of any use. Some of the damage to the car simply isn't completely repairable and given that the chassis's of Z06's can't be replaced(they have no part number) then it is beyond redemption.... If anyone has a gaudy interest I can always forward photos.....

When Steve put it on a chassis jig it was actually quite straight (about 5mm out at the back), but the damage is on part of the chassis which is irrepareable and hidden from view once you glue a new sill cover back on.
