I forgot to connect my battery conditioner before going on holiday and have come back to a flat battery. I now have the battery back up to scratch and have re-set all of the options that I previously had programmed in, however I have the tyre warning light illuminated and cannot find out how to re-set it.

I have check all the tyres and they are all exactly the right pressure - any idea ?

Regards

Keith

Low voltage causes all learned TPM data to be erased from the ECU

You will need to reprogram your sensors to the ECU again

Hope this helpssmile

If your car has 'lost' your tyre pressure sensors then they will need re-programming by a dealer. We have to have a dedicated module just for the job and the old C5 trick of a high powered magnet no longer works I'm afraid. Try driving the car first to see if it has merely lost the stored data for your pressures rather than losing the sensors themselves.

Thanks guys. I have had a flat battery several times now and have never had this problem before. I took the car out last night, but the tyre warning indicator is still showing. I does not fill me with confidence driving around not knowing if I have a puncture or not, but my local Stratstone servicing department is a Vauxhall garage, so I don't know if they would have the necessary equipment.

May just have to wait until I come down to see Mitch for an oil change, unless someone at the Nationals has some sort of re-set tool?

I'll have a word with Chris McDonald about it and see if we can try and do something with it at Huntingdon. Sadly Chris isn't able to come down himself. I'll find out exactly what the job would need. Assuming it's just a sensor re-train.

I know Ian Goss can reset the Tyre sensors on a C6 as he did it on my car!

Don't the tyre sensors reset themselves once you start driving the car again like on the BMW Mini?

We're going to bring the Kandi module down with us and have a go at the show. No promises it'll work but we'll have a good crack!

Wow, can you imagine getting that kind of service from another Corvette dealer? Well done Bauer Millett - service beyond the call of duty.

Are their other Corvette dealers in the UK?
I saw at Huttingdon a dealer selling 07 cars brand new as 08! And a yellow Z06 with damaged wheels and two owners being sold as ex demo and delivery miles on the window. It has done 13k! and looks like it had been used by the STIG.
