CCCUK CREAM TEA CRUISE SUNDAY 10th AUGUST
After a very successful event in 2006, The CCCUK Cream Tea Cruise is back for 2008 and is open to all CCCUK members.
Make a note in your diaries (Sunday 10th August) and prepare for a calorie filled day.
The plan is to assemble from 8.30 onwards at NELSON’S DINER, KINGSCLERE on the A339 Newbury Road, Kingsclere RG20 4TA between Newbury and Basingstoke.
After breakfast we will take a leisurely cruise arriving at a Pub for lunch and then we’re off to The Attwell-Wilson Motor Museum, in Calne, Wiltshire SN11 0NF where the CCCUK has been granted exclusive use of the small tearoom from which the CCCUK CREAM TEA will be served free of charge to CCCUK members and passengers at around 3pm.
All you have to do is bring your Corvette, an appetite, possibly a folding chair and a £5 per person donation to the Museum, which is now run as a charity.
This is a full day – exact details and timings will be advised, but in the meantime just put it in your diary and please advise me if you are coming along (so that we know how many scones are needed) and also if you’re having breakfast at Nelson’s, as we need to book. Hope to see you on the day.
