Anyone know of a Corvette running on LPG
Discussion
Makes sense, in fact LPG in everything!
There can be advantages from a performance perspective on LPG too, if you modify the engine to suit - has a much higher octane than gasoline!
Perhaps suited to older Vettes then, that had a spare wheel (since they don't have a transaxle there...)

The killer problem for the C5 onwards is like what has already been said - space, its what stopped me importing a Corvette - no space to put a tank.
With LPG the higher the compression the better, supposedly 12:1 static allows more efficient combustion, trouble is their don't appear to be many systems which allow the engine to run solely on LPG, you always start on petrol, and that mean you have to run well on petrol which means you can't optimise for LPG...
Funnily enough thats why I am getting an LS (custom built 416ci) engine transplanted into a Cerbera (removing the rear seats gives a fair bit of space to fit some vertical toroidal tanks)...
