Hiya

Odd one
The only indicator that's currently working on my C5Z06 is the front drivers side.

The side repeaters, rears and the front passenger side are all not working !

Checked the rear bulbs - checked the fuses - about the check the front bulbs (though I'm sure that can't be the problem ?

Any ideas ?

On C4's when the flasher unit goes up the shoot all sorts of funny things happen with the lights and indicators, could this be the same with C5's ?

ah - i checked all the wiring at the front end - i think there's a loose connection somewhere - haven't pin pointed it - but it's a bit of a mess from the light and indicator conversion - god know's what's going on with the wiring - any a bit of wiggling and it's all working again

When I went to convert my rears, I noticed a headlamp bulb in series with the rear indicator wiring (one on each side). They just hang down inside the rear panel and flash when the indicators are turned on. I'm guessing that they are there as some sort or resistor and probably an easy fix for the SVA preparer. My Vette was imported by a prolific importer and if yours was too, you may have the same bodge and it may be that one of your "headlamp" bulbs has blown..........

Yep - i've got that as well - and i've had the bulb go before - so not that
I think there's a bit a dodgy wiring somewhere at the front. A bit of jiggling of wires got it working again - but working at the front and trying to get a hand underneath the headlight is a job and half !

It is much easier to take the front wheels off then remove the inspection panels allowing easy access to the area underneath your headlights.......

bottom of front of wheel arch liners there small black plastic panels held on with 7mm nuts that when removed allow access to the voids behind side lights and underside of headlights. Right side one also houses horn on mine but that might have been moved there during one of the many mods!
