For 10 Euros you could win a new 2008 6 speed C6 coupe courtesy of a raffle being organised by The European Corvette Club to be drawn at Le Mans.

Full details are here:

Blimey - slightly better value than CCCUK - 32 Euro's for a used C5!! (Still bought some tickets though!)

The details are there but how the hell to you actually buy them off the link?!

The value for money is about the same. Can you sell me some of your Euros at 1.6/£ for Le Mans please..........

UK tickets £20, European ticket £8 but the CCCUK odds are 5 times better. I can't see anyone complaining if they won either a used C5 or a new C6 - I wouldn't.

Click on the button at the foot of the page marked "Acheter" which will take you to the order page (in French).

Rich don't get me wrong, I wouldn't moan about winning either but "about the same"? Come on! You give me a new '08 C6 if you win and I'll give you a used C5 if I do. Okay? See you in a few weeks!

Martin... stop being tight, you don't need to win a C6, you could buy two 08 Z06s with the spare change in your back pocket wink

Or even the spare change jingling about in your car door...

Especially as you NEVER turn up at any events - must be saving a fortune in petrol!

hehe... yeah gonna try and get more 'event time' in this year. I've been out of action for a while. I've got quite a serious back injury problem and when it comes out I can't walk let alone drive frown

Anyway, I'll be at the Woking Hospice event Sunday. Not sure if I'll be in the Z06 or riding shotgun in a friends C3.

Right car, the best colour, perfect number plate, but alas not mine. The owner is a CCCUK member who I thought was going to build a C6R replica, hence the number plate.

I'll trade in the European Raffle car when I win it for a Z06 - get your calculator out Mitch.

Mitch's calculator is hidden... We won't let him use it at work anymore. It's the one he used to work out that racing a Corvette was affordable!

Racing a Corvette is never affordable (unless you win the lottery) especially if you hit something immovable!
