C6 Auto Convertable... I want one ASAP !!!
Discussion
I've just come back from the States, and I decided to hire a white C6 to drive from LA to Vegas via as many twisty, single lane roads as possible (quite a few with an hour or so on Google earth).
I was expecting Hertz to give me a 30+ min lecture on how I should take it easy, and how everything works ect...
No, I had forgotten I wasn't in England... The ever helpful chappie at the desk, handed me the keys, asked me which colour car I wanted (white, it went with my shoes and jacket ) and said 'have a great time !'
My friends picked up the Mustang Shebly GTH, and off we drove grinning from ear to ear, stabbing the throttle here and there before finding the real roads.
First of all, if anyone else is planning on doing this, take your own sat nav, the Hertz one is terrible, and incredibly annoying
This car is seriously, seriously fast and the auto paddles were a joy to use when it came to the twisty stuff.
I'm not sure how we managed to not get arrested (for not really knowing the traffic rules), and for doing some seriously excessive speeds (where safe)... It was such a blast. I was shocked at how good the interior is, and how well the HUD works. This car did everything right, it was a brilliant cruiser with good MPG, very fast and controlled , comfy ride, beautiful, raucous v8 (although a straight through exhaust would be best)... the only bad thing is now I want one.
I'll get some snaps up when my friends bring the camera's over.

SSSSHHHHH!
Don't tell everyone or they are all gonna want one!
Unless you live in the past and / or Essex then a white convertible might not work as well in the UK as it did in the USA
You may also want to consider the coupe as it has a removeable roof panel giving the feel of roof free motoring when you want it plus the added security / comfort of a hardtop when it is sunny i.e. the 95% of the time in the UK.

Its got to be white, auto and its got to be the convertable. It also looks great in black as well.Unless you live in the past and / or Essex then a white convertible might not work as well in the UK as it did in the USA
When you see what I look like, it'll make sense + the 80's are back incase you haven't noticed
However I am now looking to get out of the UK and go to the states so perhaps it will fit in again
