Well the picture is of a US car...must be dodgy as even US values would mean that its sold at a loss including import costs!

Curious as to why it's said to be a US car?

I certainly hope that's not the true value of a car as advertised!

Lack of side repeaters, combined with the fact the spaces in the parking lot are actually wide enough for a Vette are a giveaway smile

You can tell its US from the lack of side indicators and headlamp washers. Be great for that date with Mrs Michael Douglas!

I would guess that you will have to pay import duty, VAT etc. on top of that.

There are 2006 C6 Z06's for sub $50K in the US but most are quite high mileage, if you are okay with that then you could get one over here yourself for not much more than that!

This one for instance is a 2006 with less than 10,000 miles on it $46,000.

Or this one (69th 2006 C6 built so a very early one) with that VIN it would suit my C5 platewink sub $60k at the moment but it could be yours for sub $55k

Go on Malc you know you want one smile

I bought my C6 from this guy.The price you see is what you'll pay,the import duty and tax etc should be incuded in the price.My guess is it's a very high mileage car as he recently sold a red C6 with about 100,000 miles on it for about 22k.

If those are photos of the actual car then the steering wheel is very shiny for a 6,000 mile car.....

I'd agree with that - and the mats looked a bit hammered too. My spot for the US car was a 200mph speedo, although maybe the Japanese have the same - dunno. However, it is still around 30% under anything currently for sale in the UK. Probably not the most "cherished" vette out there, but given the miles I pile on as a daily driver.... hmmm...

Dear Wife and Bank Manager. I have an opportunity for you.....

It isn't going to be is it? No doubt just a stock photo or a photo of someone else's car or one they once sold...

Every time there's an "amazing one-off deal" on a Mustang or Corvette, guess what, it's Auto 100, Sales Assistance, Coventus, or whatever name the company in Nottingham happen to be using this week...

Another one here, 5th down;

http://search.autotrader.co.uk/es-uk/www/cars/CHEV...

However, the description is wrong and I guess the ad doesn't relate to the Z06 shown.
