I'm taking the '92 over to the Isle of Man on Friday for a 12 day blast over the mountain during the TT races. Hopefully the mountain won't be closed as often as last year although the coast road from Ramsey is just as much fun.

Then taking both cars to the Le Mans Classic in July.

And then taking the '78 over to the Isle of Man in August for the Manx GP when I'm spannering for a mate.

For our Northern readers, I'm very nostalgic for the Sunday morning runs we used to do in Ferraris to Sellafield via the A65, Bacon Butties and mugs of tea at Devils Bridge, burbling cruise through the Lake District and then a gentle blast up the Cumbrian coast road north of Barrow.
Quick self-cooking lunch at the Sellafield visitor centre. Coach tour round the site for the daring. Wear lead boxers!
Anybody want us to organise one?

Hi David,

I live in the North East (Sunderland) to be precise and would welcome the opportunity to go on a cruise. The Lake District is only about 100 miles away, practically around the corner compared to most of the events.

Hi Guys,

Cuban is being shy about marketing his Driving Adventures (DA) trips ! For example, they are running a trip for Racing Green Cars from 2 to 10 August which goes through France, into the Black Forest, then to Lake Constance and then across Southern Germany. There's an optional day in the Austrian Alps before returning through the Mosel Valley. This is a 30 car trip which has only 4 spaces left at this moment. Most of the cars are TVRs, but there is an AMG Merc, a DB7, the leader's RS4 and Dee's and my C6 Z06. This will be the third trip DA have run for Racing Green and I cannot speak highly enough of DA's organisation and the value for money. Needless to say, you will have a ball !

So, if you fancy coming with us, have a look at www.driving-adventures.co.uk, find the "Group Tours" area and look for the Racing Green Tour. I expect Cuban will log in and give you the exact link, because he's cleverer than I am with computers. However, you may have to wait because - being down in Monaco - he is doubtless celebrating Lewis Hamilton's excellent climb to the top of the F1 Championship this afternoon ! If you want to join us, you can do so on-line on the Driving Adventures website, or you can send me an e-mail at chasw@racinggreencars.com. WBR Chas.
