Great, looking forward to it.
This is our 2nd visit, great bunch of people we met there.
At last we have our black Z06 registered and ready to use, after going through many modifications, just to satisfy the SVA people.
See you all there.

I wasn't wrong - IT WAS THE LAST NIGHT AT WINKFIELD - they are closing the pub! Another Loch Fines Sea Food jobby. Getting almost as popular as McDonalds..

Great night, excellent spread of Vettes and even a rather strange looking car with the engine mounted over the rear wheels. (apparently).

Supercharged C5 ZO6 looked particularly awesome in black with amazing attention to detail in almost every quarter, Silver C6 ZO6, C2 (beautiful), C3's, 5's & 6's.

Next meeting place to be confirmed but looks like a new home for the Thames Valley brigade.

What about the pub at the back of Blue Mountain Golf Club near Bracknell, the one on the corner of the road to White Waltham, just over the hump back bridge near the garden centre?

I think we are going to have to take a vote on this - any other suggestions out there?

Have to agree the C2 was VERY nice and the perfect colour...

I like the idea of the Jekyll, but then I live in Basingstoke so I'm biased! A quick Google for pubs with large car parks came up with:

The Swan at Three Mile Cross (good enough for AC Cobra and TVR clubs...)
The Crispin (!)
Erm, that's about it...

It's a long time since I used to frequent pubs in the area and my memory isn't what it used to be, but I'm sure there's some decent stuff around Reading. Seem to remember:

The Crown (Play Hatch)
Flowing Spring (Play Hatch) but can't remember what the car park's like
Bird in Hand (Sonning Common)

I guess anything in the Reading-Bracknell-Maidenhead triangle is a fair compromise.

Vaughan, your Dad got a grin on his face then? I understand he's got a new mota...!

Nice to meet you and your Mrs last night Gary - maybe see you at the Fairmile next Tuesday?

The Swan at 3 Mile Cross sounds good...

Good to meet you and young Henry too, Martin. I'll try to get to the Fairmile (assuming I'm allowed out when I should be packing for my hols...)

If others like the idea of The Swan as well, I realised it'd be a good idea to make sure the Cobra and TVR folk won't be fighting over the car park on the same night! (Actually, more of a case of protecting Martin from buying another Griff in the car park :-)

I think we should be OK as the TVR club meet 3rd Tuesday of the month, the Cobra club meets 3rd Sunday and the Hillman Imps meet on the 4th Monday!
