Evening all. Good to see an area dedicated to the Corvette at last. I honestly don't know why the poor 'ol Vette has such a bad rep this side of the pond. I've always had a soft spot for them and very nearly swapped by TVR 350i for a C4 a few years back.
I now drive a 300ZX, which I'd say probably has a character somewhere between a Vette and a Porsche 928 (no bad thing!). I'm looking forward to reading the banter on here, and am especially looking forward the the launch of the C6.

Having spent a brilliant two weeks driving around Nevada and California earlier this year, my passion for the Vette has been fuelled even more. We bumped into (not litterly) a Vette meeting one Saturday morning and I fell in love with a dark metallic blue C6 Coupe with chrome rims and a sports exhaust. That thing was a beaut and I would have loved to have swapped it for our rental Mustang.

We're hoping to go back to California next year (PCH has to be my favourite road trip ever), and would love to rent a Vette for the trip. Does anyone know any reliable companies I could get a quote from?

Anyway - good to see this forum looks like it going to be a success...I'll even try and get along to the Esher meet at some point (off to the South West on Friday, or I'd be there this week).

Cheers guys
