Thought you all my like to see a little bit of our weekend in Spain, my brothers and I went to see the Spanish F1 Grand Prix in Barcelona and took our Corvette C5's, we had previously done the same trip in our Cerbera's and I have to say I thought that particular weekend could not be beaten, however this last trip was something special, neither one missed a beat, 2500 delightful miles, popping and banging all the way.

There really is nothing quite like driving a car like the corvette down to the med and touring quietlywink through the tourist destinations

Anyway a couple of photo's that I think sum up our little trip.

No TVR bashing intended - I've had FIVE Griff 500's (yes - five!!) and one 3000M. If they still made the Griff today I would be driving one. I'll PM you with my TVR cars..

It would have been difficult to take the roof off the red one (it's a Z06) and the last pic does show the black one with the roof off......smile

I think the photos are deceptive if you look closely at the squished bugs on the bonnet of the red one.

Top photos, drive I'd really like to do some day smile

Where did you get the plates (assume they are legal that size for imports - Z06 looks US spec like mine) and brackets? I want to do the same although I am tempted to get a stick on but I am told they are not legal...?? Appreciate the help.

Strictly illegal I assume, many conpanies on the internet offer to make plates to our specific size and shape, as for the brackets I made then for both cars and they work really well and a very simple to make.

Hope this helps
