Here's a video that was linked up on another forum of the 09 ZR1 in top speed testing. 205mph and it looks like it is extremely stable too.

The ZR1 has a completely different gear set to the Z06, 6th is much shorter allowing it to max in that gear and be a true close ratio 6 speed gearbox. The Z06 effectively has a close ratio 5 speed box with an overdrive 6th. The ZR1 is an awesome car, but the biggest mistake is that ridiculous window on the bonnet.
A cowl induction hood, or better yet, the vented hood used on the GT3 or GT1 race cars would have been far more appropriate and would have linked the race cars to the road cars.
Peering through a window on the bonnet to see simply a plastic cover that obscures the engine is just daft.

I think that was GM's answer to the clear covers on the Ferrari & more recent Audi R8 that sparked that idea off in their head. A bit daft I's agree but certainly wouldn't stop me wanting to own one....

Magenticx ride is not an option on the Z06 (at least when I bought mine it wasn't). Edited by G4HKS on Monday 28th April 17:20
BTW, Callaway in Germany will perform a conversion from leaf spring to proper shocks and springs. Takes about a day or two, cost roughly 4k EUR (£3200).
I'm sure there are folks here that can do the conversion too.
