Here's another great "resto mod" built by one of our customers. The LS engine makes a whopping 550 BHP at the rear wheels! 305mm rear tires, Corvette front suspension and only about 2900lbs/1318kg this car is a real rocket. The owner just finished it and already has a few thousand miles on the odometer.

Oh no not Flames !!!! Sorry to be negative, but not my taste at all, I would much prefer the original look and 200 horses.

I think it's lovely. Tastefully done street rod. Love the retro-style fuel rail covers on the LS1 lump, too.

Obviously not going to be everyone's cup of tea; some people get quite upset about modifying true classics like the C1, but I dig it :-)

Cheers,
Ian.

Nice job.

Always a touchy subject, but I think as long as there are some originals for historical purpose, particularly if the modded ones were ones in need of a resto that may not have got done otherwise.

Intrested to know how it handles. . . looks like a lot of fun

I like that. There's been a huge amount of work gone into the project and I think it's pretty cool.
