new (satin black) color scheme and flares for my C3...
Discussion
...Satin black, black inside, riveted 4'' flares and 11.5x15 rear and 9.5x15 front british superlight wheels...
...The paintshop guy still at work...
Still a few details to fix, like the new full open scheme front grill...the car is 2.750lbs total weight (nearly like my griffith 500 ) and has a wealthy 570hp 406cid American Speed engine...4 speeds trans and 4.11 rear gears

How have you got the weight down to that?
I've done many modifications and spent quite a lot of money to achieve this result...here are a few:get rid of A/C and heater plus all ancillaries.
get rid of fron and rear steel defences
no power windows
empty doors
alu heads, intake, pumps
lightweight wheels and hoosier bias ply tires
lightweight front and rear suspensions
lightweight calipers
no wiper and motors
perspex windshield
race battery
lightweight race seats
gutted t-tops
no e-brake
alu radiator
fixed front lights
plus other bits and pieces that for sure i've forgotten right now...
The weight reduction helps not only in the performance but of course also in braking efficiency and handling....

It's a road car, even if not a daily driver. She ahas a classic registration so no pollution nor noice restricion (in Spain, where i'm living at moment).
Roll cage not in yet but i'm studying something, i have to find an expert guy to build a custom one, those sold in Usa are too expensive to send over here.

Just fitted a roll cage to my 2003 C5 Z06, got the kit in the form of a load of pipes from a company called Wolfe Racecraft. Excellent kit, but not sure if they do one for the C3. I am currently reducing the weight of my C5 Z06, I have removed everything from the interior that is not esential i.e. roll cage, two seats, a steering wheel and a dash is about it! Aircon got kicked out long ago and I am also installing a complete new wiring loom as the old one that didn't work was very heavy.Roll cage not in yet but i'm studying something, i have to find an expert guy to build a custom one, those sold in Usa are too expensive to send over here.

Ah in Spain, got it. It was removing the wipers that made me think it was a track car, you cannot do that in UK on a road car.Roll cage not in yet but i'm studying something, i have to find an expert guy to build a custom one, those sold in Usa are too expensive to send over here.
