Pratt and Miller bringing first C6RS Convertible to Sebring

Pratt & Miller's Corvette C6RS has made plenty of news in recent months, what with its 600 horsepower, 600 lb-ft, 8.2-liter all-aluminum V-8 engine and race-inspired suspension. No to mention its carbon fiber body. After all, P&M is the same company responsible for the all-conquering C6R race cars. Now the company is making even more news by announcing the C6RS will be available in convertible form -- a version that will make its debut showing at the Mobil 12 Hours of Sebring sports car race this weekend.

Orders are currently being taken for the 'Vette supercar, and P&M has now announced that they can build one not only on the Z06 platform, but also on that of the standard Corvette coupe and convertible, having developed a suspension package adaptable to the standard Corvette's steel chassis (as opposed to the aluminum platform used on the Z06). Orders are now being taken and the first customer deliveries are scheduled for April.
