Yes I too use Ian Goss - easy access up A3 from M25 towards Surbiton. His premises are right by the A3 junction.

Perhaps closer to you would be Claremont Corvette at Snodland (Kent) or Dart at Tonbridge (Kent). Both are long established although I've never used either of them.

C5 doesn't generally need much attention although IMO it's well worth finding someone who knows what they're doing.

Make the trip to Ian Goss Services in Surbiton
I have used the comapany in Barintree not direct but when I bought a Camaro from David boatwright the gearbox packed up the first day I had it and the air con took 3 goes to get it right with them! The car was only 2 years old as well, I think they are alright Just don't go near David Boatwright the warranty is not worth the paper it's on.

Hi John,

My car is currently with Ian Goss, he certainly knows his stuff, very knowledgable and friendly, I think I will be picking up the car today,
I will give you a call when I have it and tell you how it went, I know it seems a long way fom you but it sounds like it would be worth the trip, we can always arrange the service around a visit to us.

You need to get it sorted quick, we have a busy summer ahead of us.

Hi Big John, can you define "servicing" for me? Assuming your car has less than 100,000 miles on the clock then it should just require an oil change, which even your local grease monkey should be able to perform....just expect all the usual comments from the mechanics!

Respect to opinions here, but for my 'tupenneth' I would say- without doubt, if you are new to Corvette ownership, then one of the most important things you can do to ensure that you continue to get the best out of the car is to find and utilise the services of a experienced 'Corvette man'.
Mr Goss has an excellent reputation, and is well worth the effort to visit.

Corvettes are generally reliable, but they can go wrong! - and when they do, you need a friend who knows his stuff!rolleyes

Go to Ian Goss 100%

He is the only place you will find a set of slotted rotors in stock if you suddenly find you need them on the mot (old ones cracked)

He has been around for years and knows his stuff
You will always get him on the phone as he even gives his personal and mobile numbers out to customers
