"Non-runner due to ECU fault". I was going to ask the question "why not throw an ECU in it for a couple of hundred quid and have a runner?" but there's obviously more to it than that.

You've gotta laugh: "engine and gearbox in excellent condition" but you can't tell because it's a non-runner!

Hi Malc,

Definitely think it is genuine as a: the seller has a record of 269 previous sales/purchases b: there is more than one photo!
Check with Richard to see if there is any history for the car on the club database.....although you might have a bit of a wait as he is currently topping up his suntan somewhere in the Caribbean.

Given you have a few mates with C4's you could always arrange to borrow a C4 ECU and see if the car would fire up.....not sure if it is quite that simple but you know what I am saying.

If it goes for a good enough price it'd be worth the risk, breaking for spare will give a good return as there aren't many C4's breaking.

I've asked if viewing the car's possible, if it is i'll pop down Monday/Tuesday.

Was this previously owned by Wayne, Frankowvette.
I know he had a 95 C4 in blue and changed it for a C5. (His website http://www.corvettecentral.co.uk/ doesn't seem to be working.)

Hi Mark,

Not my old one, that was M213 GGT, think it's in France now.

Looks a very tidy C4.

The renewal of my domain name was due, the debit card the hosting company had on file for me was an expired one. With no word of warning they shut down my site and that was that, no back up.

I'll get around to sorting something out soon.

It's about time you showed those kiwi's what a proper car looks like

My faith in psome peoples ignorance has once again been restored !
I saw this thread and as I only live less than 20 miles away from this car I thought I would contact the seller and have a look.
So I sent the seller an email through Ebay and heard nothing back,no worries I thought, maybe the guy hasn't had a look at his ebay account yet.
The next time I looked the auction had been ended early and I am still eagerly awaiting my reply from the seller, something tells me I am in for a long wait.....
