It's been a bit quiet on here about the show, so who is going to be there?

I know there are a few Corvettes on show along with mine, so it would be good to
say "Hello" to some fellow Vetters.

I'll be there Fri/Sat/Sun - anyone else planning to be there?

I'm there Saturday. Had intended on taking the '78 to park in the PH parking area, but this has now fallen through so will be getting a lift off my mate instead.

I,m also going up on Saturday. I will be in the Vette though, unless the weather is really bad.

Its a real shame about the lack of PH parking. I,m sure the crew did what they could, but its a bit silly to advertise a PH parking area unless you are sure its going to happen.

Heading up there in the Vette now. My mates out on the sauce Friday so won't be safe behind the wheel come 8am. Any excuse!!

What's the story about the linking of the shows?
Is it cheaper to go to the PH show and get included entry to Autosport?

I may go up tomorrow.

It's basically all one show - all the halls are linked, it's the same ticket and price.

As far as I know there are still no Z06Rs in the country. Callaway's own car is currently up for sale if you fancy one though!!

Sadly no Corvette race cars unless you are talking 1/43rd or 1/18th scale ones.......

I should have realised that was your car Cube, congrats!
It was a bit cheeky of the C5 raffle people to put the banner right next to your car with the massive headline "WIN THIS CAR!!"...

I wonder how many people bought tickets thinking they were trying to win your car... wink

Quite a good show; better than I expected.

I caught up with a few people and it was particularly nice to meet the Editor and Deputy Editor of Performance Car magazine which is re-launching next month.
I notice nobody even vaguely related to the magazine bothered turning up to the Evo stand...

Thanks David, sorry I missed you, I was looking out for you.

Great to have finally met Mark, Paul and their respective partners along with
Terry and his stunning Stingray Racer (hope you got home ok - at least the
rain held off!

It was also great fun to talk to so many new people interested in buying a
Corvette. yes

Pleased to be able to help the Corvette Club Rich. yes

Naturally some people just 'collect' any flyer going and since you couldn't really
stand by the car without being in someone's way which was a shame, I opted to
leave the flyers on the floor beyond the rail, and only those interested seemed
to take them. smile

If they spent a moment or two reading or discussing the details, I moved in to give
it a sales push, so I hope it helps. smile

There was a lot of traffic past the car!

...and hundreds of photos and questions. smile
