C6 Insurance - Some Questions...

Here's a few questions aimed at C6 Vette owners (no offence to all the other wonderful Corvettes)

Do the majority of you have unlimited mileage policies?

Does your insurance company insist on a tracker?

If you are happy to say, state the age of the car and your premium.

Cuban,

You will likely find some disparity between U.S. and EU cars. The EU cars have a Thatcham rating, however imports are more likely to require a Tracker to keep insurers happy.

My C6 is an offical car and has thatcham one alarm as standard or cars imported by Stratstone alos have an offical seal on the door showing vin and and various numbers so teh insurance can check with them what are offical cars, Thats what put me off when I spoke to the insurance on an import they wanted an aftermarket alarm fiited can you imagine soone trying to get it to work with the keyless entry and pushbutton start!

Both of my C6's are insured via limited mileage policies without required either Thatcham or tracker.
