Did you always want a Corvette, but thought you could never afford one.

Check here.

I'm glad you put the words in your advert in such a large font since I have trouble reading anything smaller smile

Very good mpg figures.
This is mpg for US gallons, so must add 20% to the indicated mpg

Hmmm .... but the UK cars with 300 mph speedo are clearly much quicker! (Tho' you've little chance telling how fast you're going without HUD!) smile

It will be interesting to see what this vette achieves on ebay.I hope it this isn't another of those "no reserve" auctions that gets pulled at the last minute 'cos it doesn't live up to the owners expectations.I will have a bid if that isn't the case.

Laser,

I can promise you,
It will not be getting pulled in the last minutes.
It will be getting sold, and thats that.
it will have a new home.

Islanders only,
yep, had a Dutchman ask me twice to drive it over to Holland and he will give me the several £k over the asking.
Yea, sure. To do with his importing ?
If he is really wanting it, make a bid like everyone else.
Now I am looking out for overseas bidders, who perhaps may fail to complete.
Just a precaution, and I hope, or I am sure you will understand.
G.

a great many of my friends that have Driven C5 Zo6s from LA to Vegas(at a steady 65mph) have claimed 30mpg once the engine has been broken in(after its first 1500miles).

How do you get away with the illegal all red since you have to cut the wire at the brake pedal to convert to orange and you would have had to have orange for the SVA, right?

Hi Wayne,
I have a small switch in line with the wire that is cut (white wire) to swap from when I have my Euro lights on or my Red's on.
The switch is small and just hangs right near the brake pedal above the cover.
Just need to slip the cover aside a little to flick the switch.
Easy peasy.
Sure I had to have the Euro lights for the SVA, but after that, I put the "red's" back on.

Well I wasn't far off with my predictions.I was going to have a last minute bid of £20k but, despite the seller not accepting £19250 in the Q&A he apparently sold to the highest bidder at the time at £18700.Why not take the higher bid ? why say on this forum that the auction would definatley run to the last minute ? I was genuinley interested in that car,I have the CASH waiting, not at the mercy of a finance company etc.
Yet another reason not to trust anybody today, sad but true
