Anybody booked up for Le Mans yet and if so what day are you going and have you booked a Hotel?

Yup, but in very basic hotel at present. Better ones are already saying they have no vacancies!

Any decent hotel tips (close to Le Mans) will be greatly appreciated!

Have put a request into the ACO to camp at Arnage, after this years LeMans I swore I would not go again ? would be rude not to take the Corette .

Booked with Just Tickets to camp at Karting Nord again. Going down for the full week this time to check out the scrutineering Mon/Tue. Taking the '78 down.

Also booked for the Le Mans Classic and taking down both Corvettes for this. Heading to Calais on Wednesday and then driving the old N138 route to Le Mans all day Thursday. Really looking forward to this one!

Who needs a hotel? This year we had full power with lighting, tv, stereo, PS2, fridge and all mod cons. This year we've got a suckling pig to enjoy. Get camping!!

Admission £58 per person, Karting Nord £72 per car (36 each) - thu Just Tickets.
Tunnel (out Sun 8th, back Sun 15) £121 between 2.

Direct from ACO, booking made not allocated yet, about 42e each admin and 60 e for the camping.
Tunnel (out Wed 9th, back Sun 13) £108 each as we're taking both Vettes.

Petrol is about £200 round trip from Sheffield, tolls about £15.

Also got to hire a van, generator, get a suckling pig, buy more security fence and look into getting a scaffold tower for trackside.

Received a confirmation fax from the hotel on Christmas day. Perfect!
