A friend of mine has a load of questions on how to best prepare a Z06 for trackday duty.

He's looking to upgrade the brakes, get the suspension geometry setup for the track, sticky track rubber etc...

Are there any specialists in the UK or perhaps a racing team that knows what they are doing?

I found these guys fantastic, they are based at the Top Gear test track. Ok they are not Corvette specialists but they are specialists in setting a car up.

You called? wink

I imported all my parts from the US, using Steve Borland's Moving Parts company, and had them fitted over here.

Ian Goss did the Lingenfelter engine conversion and Autofficina (just round the corner from Ian and race technicians) installed the Brembos, Penskes and race wheels and set up the suspension.

I would suggest talking to a gentleman called Dave Beecroft at Xero Competition in Warrington. They have extensive Corvette knowledge having raced a GT2 Corvette in British GT and Belcar. Given that the car in question is coming back out to race again next year, the team is very Corvette focussed and they're well worth talking to.
