So my first Corvette, my wonderful C5 has now gone, but, to a good home.
I fly out to Florida in 48 hours to close the deal on my new car and fingers, toes etc crossed, I am hoping to be
able to drive the new car around the State for a few days.
I'll know the score on that today and if it works out, I'll pass the details on to you all as it may help others in future.
So what have I got? Well here she is in all her glory, a fully loaded Atomic Orange 2007 C6 Z51 Coupe 3LT, with
lots of extra added touches.
She is all but new as well, just 400 miles on the clock - I can't really have done much better in terms of getting
the exact car I wanted (well maybe if it was wearing a CORSA, but I can add that later.)
She starts her journey from Miami to the UK, all being well (you know how these things go!) within the next two weeks.
Hoping and praying to have her on the road for the Festive season, but I know it could well end up being after
...or even January if the boat gets delayed.
But right now, I am like a kid in a candy store who's Christmas has just come early, roll on Friday!
I'll be sure to post some new picture from Florida, so keep an eye out!

Very nice! I saw an Atomic Orange Z06 at Stratstone's and it did look very cool.
But for gawdsake buy the Corsa exhaust and get it fitted over there shipped over with the car!
It will cost you fortunes to ship over separately and you'll get shafted on the tax.
Just don't expect it to get onto many UK circuits once it's on...
Ian Goss is fitting my electronic exhaust valve override at the moment so I will be allowed to play at Donington this Sunday, fingers crossed!

That was the plan, but I have been told I must leave the car stock for the SVA test, even changing the wheels could become a failure. But for gawdsake buy the Corsa exhaust and get it fitted over there shipped over with the car!

However, I may still bring a Corsa back with me though...

But yes, putting it in the car will save you hundreds in shipping at least.
How did the price compare with an '06 Z06? There was an incredible tuned black one on the Corvette Forum not long ago. Offers in the $60ks and it had had a LOT of money spent on it.

Beautiful, Graham!
I thought the owner of a Z06 website would get a Z06 but that does look nice.
Next time you're in London feel free to drop by my hovel for a Tim Horton's.
Ah but it's a C6 & Z06 site! I thought the owner of a Z06 website would get a Z06 but that does look nice.

...You also need to re do your photo on the site since I fixed it.
As for the TH, I might just take you up on that!
So, here I am in America and the big day lies ahead, but it was a long journey door to door.
It took 2 hours to get clear of Orlando airport and then the Hertz Sat Nav died
leaving me clueless as to the location of my hotel 3 hours away just north of Fort Myers.
However, I finally made it here just before 1am and am off for some sleep as I have been on the move
now for 24 hours and have an Atomic day ahead....more later!
