SVA and older cars.

What are the DVLA registring requirements of imported vehicles from EU
that are 10 or more years of age.
Its a specialist car originally built in the UK, but may/may not have been originally registered with the DVLA.
Will it need SVA to avoid a Q plate?

10 years or older you will just need an MOT,As long as you have documentary evidence of the year of manufacture or a dating letter from the manufacturer you will not get a Q plate.However if cant get either straight away you have one year to sort it,then the Q stays on for good !!!! you cant even replace it with a private number.Hope this helps.
