Full report here: http://www.autoblog.com/2007/10/29/sema-2007-jay-l...

It does seem a bit excessive, to end up with "just" 600bhp and very dubious green credentials, but it looks fantastic.

Blimey; they're making this monster available to non-big-chinned non-celebrities too!
VHR, I think we've found your next car! http://www.prattmiller.com

Thankfully the non-Jay Leno versions will run on good ol' gasoline. No bio-ethanol necessary.
And I've asked one of the guys from Katech about the "low" 600bhp quote. He says that is accurate as it runs a very mild cam to get it through all the CARB emissions certification.

They won't fit a different cam to that car, or so he says. Likewise none of the parts are available individually, just complete cars.

No info on price yet, but I guess it will make the ZR1 look cheap... frown

The internals aren't all that special, forged crank, forged rods and forged pistons. Quite normal, topped off with some ls7 stuff. The killer is a billet aluminium block, yikes! Why not just use some forced induction and stockish components maybe with forged pistons?

Spoke to P&M today via email cost is $185,000 plus your C6 (doesn't matter which variant).

I was out on both counts.........due to lack of $185,000 as well as C6.

I saw Leno's car at GM's SEMA booth. Very cool piece of kit! $185k + a C6 seems a bit steep....I wonder how well these will hold their value? 295mm fronts and 345mm rear!?!?! It would be interesting to see how well they do on the skidpad?
