Pics and vid from the 'Ring and Spa earlier this week

Had a brilliant trip tagging along with the TVR Monster crew again this year.
They were the guys I went with last year, but I had to cut it short to join the evo boys for eCotY so didn't get much track time at Spa.
This year was awesome with unseasonably warm and dry conditions at the Ring:

Made a passenger throw up due to sheer g force (thankfully after he got out of the car), max I saw was 1.27g and I think my best BTG was 8:26.
Then Spa the next day was even more awesome. Had a few laps with Michael Caine (no, not that one) and he gave some excellent pointers.
No idea if it was the fastest lap I did, but one I timed on video at 2:54. Phil James' fastest lap in class in his winning Healey RACE CAR was 3:06!

BTW, for all you armchair racers out there, Eau Rouge is not only not flat, most racers without downforce have to brake halfway through it (sometimes with a downshift!).
Finally, Andy Race (great name) who runs TVR Monster Tours and races a Griff, took this video from the back of his car with BossCerbera in his 6.0 Diablo and me in the Z06 mugging it up for the camera! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IMY_kjQ6eJ8
Unfortunately I had to pull in after a couple of laps as I was out of fuel and my passenger was (again) beginning to feel rather unwell!

Cheers guys!
I forgot to add that the trip was only possible because Steve at Stratstone (with encouragement from ParkLane no doubt!) pulled out all the stops and got my warranty replacement gearbox fitted in time.
I picked the car up the day before the trip and when I spotted a problem with the American Racing headers fouling on the tunnel, they sorted it there and then.
Top job and thanks to James, Steve and Adrian!
