Fran, truth is there is little from *any* other manufacturer!!

Considering that the Corvette has a 54 year pedigree, has a spot in American and popular culture, has been the subject of movie titles and songs, and the community of followers, there is basially very little that compares...

Curious thing is despite USAs supposedly classless culture many of the movers and shakers are snobbish when it comes to car ownership and prefer to be seen driving some kind of "Euro import" or even a "Lexus" (where's Alan Partridge?) rather than America's finest! Hence the Blue Collar Supercar. No doubt this is why GM are pushing the new ZR-1. Latest Z06 is already getting people out of their Porsches etc to have a look at what the General has to offer.
