C 6 Centre Console

Hi All,

I haven't even got a car yet so this is a bit premature, but.... I was looking inside the Ron Fellows Z06 and also the Victory edition C 6 today and they have a rather nice carbon fibre look centre console, rather than the plane silver version. Does anyone know how difficult it would be to change the silver version for one of these other units?

If you've never done it before, probably about an hour and a half to take off and replace. It is only held in with screws, you just need to know where they are (and remember to plug the heated seat and traction control buttons back in).
If it's on your new pride and joy I would let a technician do it for you - the last thing that you want to do is scratch the dash on your new car.

A full carbon fibre kit is quite expensive even from Westcoast Corvettes at $1100 excluding carriage/duty etc.
