Just wondered if PistonHeads are having their November meet at Virginia Water this November? I guess it would be Sunday the 11th of NOVEMBER 2007.

Last year (12th Nov 06) was very well attended and the Febuary one even better. (See my webshots: http://rides.webshots.com/album/547354396oelYat ) Spot the Vetts!

If not, who fancies a trip there anyway at say start 09:30? It gets very busy!

F&M ? I am probably being a little thick, apologies. If there are enough takers maybe we can call it the Virginia Water V8 Day. All interested parties reply below!

A fine plan. Any excuse for an outing is more than welcome in the dark days of winter!

Foot and Mouth - the Chertsey/Egham outbreaks have forced the closure of the Great Park.

Ahh! the old foot and mouth. There is a sign on the gate (23rd Sept) indicating that it will be closed until mid-October, so hopefully all should be well for SUNDAY 11th of NOVEMBER 2007, early start 9:30am.

Pass the word around, tell your Corvette/TVR local regions (at the very least!) and let's hope there will be a good turn out. As you say, any excuse for a trip out in your pride and joy in the winter months must be good. The November meeting last year was fantastic - I have not seen so many amazing cars all in one area for a long time, let alone with no entrance fee (with the exception of the car park cost of course).

If Virgina Water is a no go, then a second spot is only a mile away on the A308, The Public Car Park between Old Windsor and the Runnymead Hotel is open next to the river. It's a good spot with lots of FREE parking.

From the Runnymead roundabout follow directions towards Windsor on the A308 and you will see a sign on the right marked "Pleasure Grounds & River".

Fingers crossed the original PH usual meeting place in Virginia Water has re-opened by then as they are indicating it should be open by mid-October.
