Seeing as there is an established vette scene I wondered if it might be easier for me to source parts via this route rather than the monaro ls1 route?!?

I'm looking for 02 wiring loom extenders as I have had long tube headers installed and need to replace one of my 02s. I've seen them in the states for about $24 which is cheap compared to the uk price quotes I've gotten thus far.

Can anyone recommend somewhere to look for the 02 extension looms?

Thanks

To be honest, if you can get them for $24 in the states and someone will ship them by USPS priority (much cheaper than FedEx) then you should have them within the week anyway. I'd do that if it's non-urgent.

Aussie/UK cars use different 02 sensor plugs than the US cars...so make sure you get a pic of the connectors before spending.

also different year cars have different plugs frown I've got the flat 4 pin - like a large IDE hard drive power connector.

Do you mean like these:

http://www.metripack.com/metripacksealed150.html

This is what I have on the January 1999 corvette, but thought they were supposed to be the square version (I guess they were using old 1998 parts).

You might try this in the UK - no prices though

bingo! Yes they must have been using old parts as the later builds, especially ls2's, had the new square plugs.

So i can basically buy the metripack connector and make my own wires? That is mucho appreciated!
