Does anyone know anything about, or has had experience of BMS ESVA centre at Weston (Nr Avonmouth).
They claim to be the largest SVA mod centre in the UK., and have the added advantage of also being a VOSA test centre (pass guarranteed?)

i might of missed the point of the question.... i'm just getting (a viper) tested @ avonmouth. i'm doing the mods myself on/with advice from some viper owners smile
not sure a vette would be much more complicated and mods can be done in a day apparently

I know, have done a couple of C5 Z06's, and I imagine that the C6 is not that much different except for euro rear lights availability.
I am just getting lazy in my advancing years!

C6 just has the added complication of Xenon headlights that won't pass without self levelling or washers (go figure?) so you will need to change the bulbs and wiring to these also. H7 bulb is a direct fit.

The xenon's are only the dip, so thats no problem.
The fix for the drl involving relays 38/40 apparently does not apply to auto cars.
There are no currently available euro lights for the rear from oem's, so they have to be obtained from GM.
I wish to also keep the parking lights within the front amnber strip, but can cover this by the use of 501 wedge fit led, having done the usual ero mod.
Using led's for the required side repeaters may also be preferable since the current draw is minute, and the computer wont worry too much!

Which "rears" do you have, the paired fogs, or the indicator ones.

Euro construction and use say you must have auto adjustment and the headlight washers, to stop potential glare, remembering xenons are 2.5 times as bright as filaments.

Why are half the posts on here about lights, I thought Vettes were supposed to be about fun.

Vettes are about 'light entertainment' (sic)
