Well its that time of year again anyone fancy a few hot laps round Brunters??

Only problem is the 100db limit, last year this was sort of enforced/ignored but you may be asked to cool it on the back straight, after the court case (which they won)the noise police will be off licking there wounds.

Anyone fancy it????

Its free

If not MOPAR Nats on the Sunday???

Paul, When is it? let me have details and I will circulate to Corvette lot.

Brett: You know ours has a slightly modded exhaust which makes it a little noisey and I ran most of the day, just got black flagged the once. Owner came over and requested I keep foot of throttle before going round bend at end of straight, then let me back out on track.

Its a great day out and for a good cause.

July 29th is the same weekend as the Silverstone Classic aswell. Real shame as I enjoyed taking the Vette out on the track last year, some nice fast corners to get the car sideways on.

Mine ONLY made 108dB at Elvington last year, but can't do Brunters as it clashes yet again with TOTB at Elvington frown

I would love to do it but given the Bruntingthorpe Sound Nazis would throw me off after 1 lap and I am also racing at TOTB that day at Elvington then unfortunately I won't be able to assist.

You might want to put a posting over on www.corvetteclub.org.uk to see if there are any Midlands vette owners that would like to come along. For example Slippery, Lucky Boy and Genghis would probably be most likely to want to do it.

Do we need the entry form like last year? I've not decided yet whether to do Bruntinghtorpe, TOTB or the Silverstone Classic. Might aswell keep myself covered by getting an entry form.

Really enjoyed it last year and the Vulcan hangar is open aswell so could nip in there when the track's closed.

Yes you need an entry pass so PM me your details and i'll email one over or stick it in the post

Sound check will be like last year......here mate keep it quiet down the bottom of the track and try not to nail it out the pits.

And the best bit is we think the Vulcan will fly that day, and thats a bit over 100db.
