Wedding - Only a Corvette will do...
Discussion
Dear all,
A close friend of mine is getting married next summer and I’d like to sort out the transport for his big day. The guy is a massive fan of Corvettes so as far as I’m concerned, to leave the church on his special day, nothing else will do...
He fell in love with the marque during a year working in the States where he was lucky enough to borrow one for a few months! Since his return (3 years ago) he hasn’t stopped going on about it...
Problem: my initial enquiries reveal no companies in the UK that do ‘wedding hire’ for Corvettes!
I’d be very grateful if someone could point me in the direction of a suitable company...
Alternatively (if I can’t organise a day’s rental), would any of you consider discussing arrangements so I can help make his day as great as possible... The wedding is in the Midlands...
(P.S. apologies in advance for being a TVR owner)
Many thanks
Graham

Cheers for the responses guys...
I don’t think the model is that critical, it’s the breed that’s important.
I know that the lucky/condemned man (Dan) thinks the classics are absolutely stunning, however I also know he’s in awe whenever he sees one of the newer ones...
I did a little research of the background last night - You’ll probably pick me up for my Corvette knowledge being patchy:
He drove a ‘73 Stingray that had a 350 small block. During the year he literally spent hundreds of hours helping the owner (who will no doubt be over for the wedding) do a chassis-off overhaul. During the re-build they put in a 350cu from a stock car!
I’m told it was in great condition and it always sounded like an insane motor to me...
(I’ll post some photos if anyone’s interested)
I believe the church is in Hagley (South of Birmingham).
Church delivery would be great... Having cars that are louder than the Church organ and bells combined would be epic!
Nigel: Your motor looked fantastic at Lemans (assuming it was you I saw with the full race decals). It was my first event - My Chim was striped up in Union Jack colours but looked discreet next to your Z06!

Seriously though as it has already been mentioned I am sure there would be a few people on here and in the CCCUK who would be glad to help.
