The above link is the latest review of performance cars by Car & Driver at Virginia Raceway. The Z06 managed a lap time over 3 seconds quicker than a GT3 and the base Vette also performed very well against serious comptition.

I post link in Porsche forum to cheer them up as at least they beat the Audi R8.

That's a good performance for the standard C6 Z-51 - one in the eye for the UK motoring press.

Whats also important to note here is they mention the 2007 version of the Z06 has had the rear shocks changed/adjusted which has improved the car greatly.

So question is, can these changes be made to 2005/2006 Z06 models?
